Statutory rightsThese terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
PricingOn receipt of your order and deposit, we will confirm, in writing within 5 days acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us. We accept most credit cards except American Express, an initial deposit of 25% can be paid by credit card up to a maximum of £1000.00, the balance is due 7 days prior to delivery by debit card, cheque or electonic transfer of funds. If the balance is paid using a credit card a 3% transaction charge will be applied. In the event of payment not being received in time, delivery will be delayed and will be subject to a re-delivery charge.
DeliveryWill be made Monday to Friday 8am- 7pm, you will be contacted prior to the agreed delivery time to finalise details, some models will be delivered on a flat bed vehicle and will need to be un-loaded by hand, the driver will assist with this. The cabin is made from kiln dried timber and must be covered if it to be stored outside prior to construction and treatment with moisture regulating stains, this is to prevent moisture/rain from warping, unless you plan to store your cabin inside, you will need tarpaulins. All deliveries must be signed for; no goods will be left without a signature. No claims for obvious visual damage will be accepted unless signed for on the delivery note. Please do not book any fitting labour or commence building until all components have been fully checked and you are happy with the contents. Only one notification of missing/damaged parts will be accepted, any additional requests will be subject to parts and delivery charges. Shire Playhouses will be delivered kerb-side only. If delivery is refused upon arrival the customer will be responsible for any delivery charges that have been incurred. Vudas Chalets will be delivered kerb-side only, please note two / three people need to be onhand to help off-load.
Delivery checkThe log cabin must be checked against the packing list within 5 days of delivery, if something is missing or damaged, we will arrange for the parts to be re-delivered.
Cancelling your orderIn the unlikely event that you find it necessary to cancel an order, please contact us immediately by telephone and in writing, if the order has already been shipped, you will be subject to up to a 20% restocking fee plus all return or redirection shipping charges also you will lose 3% of the deposit paid. Orders that have been placed with Cabinville which have not been shipped a cancellation fee of 3% of the deposit paid plus the manufacturers will charge £150.00 cancellation fee. Please note there is no cancellation policy for custom orders. Once a custom order has been placed, there is no refund policy as each item is custom made by hand and cannot be re-consigned. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Timber Finishing Stains Cabinville Timber finishing Stains are available in 5 and 10 Litre tins only. Cabinville recommend applying 2 coats to achieve the best possible finish and protection against the elements. Please note that the quality recommended for your cabin is only a guide. Once a confirmed order for finishing stain has been placed with Cabinville via telephone order or in writing. No refunds or returns can be provided as all orders are mixed and despatched specifically to fulfil an order. Force Majeure The company shall not be liable in respect of any shortage or failure to supply goods where such shortage of or failure is due to act of God or any other reason beyond the control of the Company in such circumstances will not be liable in respect of any consequential loss to the purchaser.
Installation of log cabinsThe base must be perfectly level, and normal DIY skills required to build the cabin, Cabinville can arrange for the base to be laid and arrange fitters, but they are under contract to the buyer not Cabinville and will be paid by the buyer on satisfactory completion. Cabinville will not be held liable for any claims under any circumstances. |
